Parent Intervention Training

The Parent Intervention Training program focuses more on the parent than the child. Many times consultants do a great job of programming for the children, but the parents do not get enough information on how to continue working on communication skills or a behavior intervention once the therapist leaves!

As important as it is to have your child receive ABA therapy, it is just as important that parents receive solid training to work with their child in the home setting. Our parent training provides parents with the knowledge and information to carry through with teaching basic skills and performing behavior interventions in the home setting. The training is intended to:

  • Increase your knowledge of ABA procedures including reinforcement, functions of behavior, and reducing inappropriate behavior.
  • Educate you on the basics of ABA, and how to apply them when working with your child.
  • Increase your child's potential for success immeasurably! A parent is doing a great service to his/her child by being able to carry out these programs and interventions at home.

This program is great for parents who are new to ABA, who need help with in-home programming, or need a refresher course of ABA training. Contact us today for more information and pricing!
